My name is Svetlana, I am the curator of the "Marathon in the Dark" project of the "Sport for Life" Charitable Foundation. This race is a sign of memory of those who worthily defended the besieged Leningrad. All routes of the event lie on the very Road of Life, which has become one of the important milestones in the history of our country. The foundation team - wards and volunteers united to support not only the main purpose of the race, but also other wards of the foundation and the "Marathon in the Dark" project. Hello! My name is Vladimir Bolotin and for the last six months I have been treated for cancer. And now I want to return to active training, to return physical activity and jogging. And the result of this should be the first race. The first race - that was once the name of the start of the "Running Community", which opens the running season, is called "April". This is where I want to "return" to running. I have only three weeks to get at least some form, work out with a trainer, return to regular exercise, and prepare for the start. This is a big challenge for me, because after all the chemotherapy and radiation therapy, I lost weight, muscle mass and the desire to run. I want to dedicate my March mini-challenge to the wards of the Sports for Life Foundation, that they were also able to run. I am sure that together we will be able to quickly close the collection.

My name is Julia. I am from Rostov-on-Don. On December 30, we will swim 10 km with the MTT (Mineev Triathlon Team). A team of 7 people will also swim 3, 5 and 8 km. We would like to dedicate this swim to the Sport for Life Charitable Foundation, which helps people with disabilities go in for sports. The Foundation takes the wards to the competitions and systematically organizes training sessions, including swimming. As part of the "Marathon in the Dark" project, assistance is provided to people with visual impairments who are actively preparing for next year's triathlon starts. In order for the fund's wards to have the opportunity to start training in the pool in January, we set a goal to collect 50,000 rubles, which will be used to rent lanes.
