Maxim Shkurenkov, 8 years old Maxim is an amazing child. He was born with Down syndrome, and during the first years of his life he regularly underwent rehabilitation in various centers - his parents tried their best to solve the problems with the delay in the physical development of the boy. At home, they did massage on their own, developed fine motor skills, listened to children's songs. Later they began to attend early development centers, a course "Music with Mom", a swimming pool, and went to a private kindergarten so that the child could communicate with peers. At the age of four, Maxim went to a regular kindergarten. Now he is 8 years old, he is a student of the 1st grade, he is engaged in alpine skiing, swimming, attends a theater studio. There are still problems with behavior and speech - in this the Shkurenkov family is helped by specialists from the Markhamat Child Development Center, a professional defectologist, speech therapist and psychologist. For further socialization, Maxim needs to continue his studies on a regular basis, and this requires funds that the family does not have.
