My name is Olga Konysbaeva! On September 12, I will take part in the Ufa International Marathon for the first time. It is very exciting because of this, and also because I want to make my participation in the marathon meaningful. I want to run 10 km in support of the wards of the Breaking Barriers Center - children with epidermolysis bullosa. The people are also called "butterfly children", comparing their vulnerable skin with a butterfly's wing. In addition to skin problems, there are problems with digestion and mucous membranes. Ruslan Khabibov, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, will run on September 12 in support of Katya Suvorova! ⠀ A 15-year-old ward of the Markhamat Child Development Center has cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, bilateral subluxation of the hip joint, scoliosis, mental retardation, epilepsy. ⠀ Katya was born prematurely, only 1-4 points on the Apgar scale, spent 2 months in the hospital, where an ischemic lesion of the central nervous system occurred. ⠀ A child from 3 months of age is observed by a neurologist, orthopedist, from 3 years old by an epileptologist. ⠀ At 1.3 years old, she underwent trepanation of the frontal bone, bypass surgery, at 7 years old, surgery on the adductor muscles of the legs. ⠀ Katya does not speak, but she tries. She studies at school (excellent student, writes poetry, participates in olympiads). ⠀ He does not sit on his own, does not walk, but understands everything and has a desire to do everything, to repeat after brother and sister. ⠀ The child has an interest in new things, wants to be independent, tries to eat, drink from a circle herself, study. ⠀ At the Center for Child Development under the "Markhamat" foundation he works with a physical therapist, speech therapist, and a defectologist. ⠀ A fundraising campaign in support of Katya at the Ufa Marathon is open, thanks to which the girl will be able to practice all autumn for free!

Not so long ago I have been doing jogging, participating in the second such mass event. I learned that this time you can run the distance usefully by doing a good deed. I chose the Special Children Foundation, because I myself am the father of a special daughter and I understand how difficult it is for parents to make decisions about which rehabilitation to go through and which to postpone until better times due to the fact that there is simply not enough money for it. The holding of the Ufa Marathon gave a reason to contribute to the rehabilitation and treatment of children with special needs.

For the second time, the Republican Cardiology Center participates in the charitable campaign # RunHelp: employees are running at the Ufa International Marathon! ⠀ This time they support Shamil Karamov. At birth, it turned out that Shamil, in addition to the syndrome, had a severe heart defect - he could neither breathe nor eat, he was prohibited from any rehabilitation, massages. Shamil spent the first year and a half in the cardio center, underwent two difficult operations. The boy's dad did not cope with the tests, his mother has to raise three children alone. ⠀ At the age of 3 three years, Shamil began to walk, now he is full of physical activity, but problems with speech. ⠀ The specialists of the Markhamat center help to solve this issue: Shamil works with a speech therapist, psychologist and defectologist. But this requires money, which the family does not have enough. ⠀ Support good spirits - and Shamil will be able to practice for free all autumn!
